Strawberry Season!

I love strawberries, do you? <3{

Their season’s just starting, and boy do they taste oh so strawberry-y already.

Lunch was alfredo chicken pasta on organic salad greens.

I threw together a quick salad of strawberry, carrot, roma tomato, broccoli, romaine lettuce and fire house curds (all organic). Since everything is fresh and ripe, I left it naked. Also, the curds add a savory tang that goes a long way. But if I did get bored, this is a large bowl of salad, I’d probably add a dash of balsamic vinaigrette, which is just lovely with strawberries, or garlic olive oil.

Although I bought very ripe strawberries today, I used these firmer ones for my salad, so that the texture stays heartier, especially if you toss the salad.

For dessert I will have the ripe and dark strawberries with creme fraiche from Cowgirl Creamery. So good! If you don’t know the joys of strawberries with creme fraiche, you need to learn.

I <3{ fruit.

Fast Food Blog

I go to the Old Tea House all the time for Boba drinks and Super Spicy popcorn chicken.

Their boba is usually the best. So perfectly and enjoyably chewy, they’ve turned me into a Boba snob.

Green Tea Boba

Notice the balls are light, not dark.

I brought some organic cherry tomatoes with me, so I made kabob!

Spicy!

This was just a quick post since it’s been months since I blogged here! If you’re interested in my outfit, I will blog on it soon here.

New York Day 1

Most of today consisted of Plane travel. But here’s the food I had throughout. At 5:30am, we drank La Bou coffee. It’s delicious warm. When it got cold, I added milk.

La Bou, first time

Michiko made Cranberry Pecan bread! It’s so good.

Went exploring the Terminal, saw this:

Also walked by Pour la France:

Got boss some Latte from here, so cute!

Then I ate these ‘New Nuts’ Sunflower seed nuggets called Somersaults.

At the conference, dinner was buffet style. Of course I had to try some of everything.

Dessert!

I was  a bit disappointed by the lemon cheesecupcake. The French Roast coffee was also terrible. But the rest of the food was yummy and super filling. And I made some super strong Lipton black tea to make up for the Rage coffee.

The coffee I had during the break was better and I forgot to photograph the oatmeal raisin granola bar.

Flowers for Grandma

The other day I headed to Farmer’s market to buy flower for his Grandmother. We were visiting her that evening and I had time to arrange them.

It’s been a while since I bought and arranged flowers. It’s usually relaxing. I wanted to share the pretty flowers with you.

Close ups of these beautiful plant sex organs.

Backsides look neat too.

Friendmade Pasta Dinner

Perhaps pasta is a common occurrence at your table, but as for me, I have been craving it for a few months, and not made time to make any. But luckily, at my friends’ home last night, and they made pasta with the fixings.

I helped out, and borrowed their super cute cupcake apron, and drank from their super cute cupcake mug.

The sauce was based on his mother’s meat sauce, and he added Anaheim peppers, carrots, onions, and garden grown tomatoes! My fingers are still burning the next day, and yes, I’ve touched my eyes too.

He did a great job, al dente with olive oil

From my jaunt in San Francisco this weekend, I’ve become addicted to Bread & Butter. So this garlic bread made with an entire stick of butter was heaven.

And, Bon Apetit~

After dinner, he lit his incense:

Smoke comes out his nose!

Isn’t that neat? He bought it this past weekend at the Renaissance Fair.

Home made Ramen

My Baby brother bought some Shabu meat, and it will go bad if we don’t eat it soon. That inspired me to make Meat Ramen.

First, I cooked the egg and onions, then threw in meat. I quickly removed the meat once it was cooked, and set it aside. Then, I added the dry ramen. After that was done, I started putting the ramen in the bowl, and arranged the toppings. I rinsed off the egg in cold water, and to my surprise, it came out soft boiled! I never get it  softly boiled right for ramen.

Itadakimasu!

HoHoHo, Merry Coffee.

Felicity Indeed.

It’s Christmas in August, when I received this North Pole Blend coffee from Michiko-tan. She recently visited Alaska, and a city called the North Pole! (She even sat on Santa’s lap…haha.)

Dirty Lookin’

Closed it with a tiny clothespin. Chou kawaii!

All the small things.

The final product was very smooth. I made it like Normal People do, usually I use double grinds. I will enjoy rest of this pleasant pack into October.

Warm coffee puts the Fuzzies in.
